Background
The Eastern Africa Nationality Network (EANN) is a coalition of civil society organizations and individuals working to eliminate statelessness and promote nationality rights in the Eastern Africa region. Established in 2022, the EANN fosters collaboration among members, conducts joint advocacy, raises awareness, and builds regional capacity to prevent and resolve statelessness. Its goals include reinforcing solidarity among partners and increasing visibility and resources for nationality rights.
The Objectives of the Assignment
Through this assignment, EANN seeks to formally be registered as a company limited by guarantee and fulfill all the statutory requirements as provided for by the Registrar of Companies Act.
Scope of Work
The following constitute the scope of work for the consultancy.
- Undertake the registration of a Company Limited by Guarantee in Kenya.
- Undertake the registration of all statutory requirements on behalf of the company i.e. company KRA PIN Certificate, NSSF and SHIF Certificates.
- Act as the Company Secretary to the Company at the Companies Registry.
- Support the company bank account opening exercise.
- Provide other relevant post registration services.
Deliverables
- Certificate of registration of Company Limited by Guarantee in Kenya.
- Certificates of registration of statutory requirements of the company i.e. company KRA PIN Certificate, NSSF and SHIF Certificates.
- Prove of acting as the Company Secretary to the Company at the Companies Registry.
- Company bank accounts.
Duration
The contract duration for this assignment is 4 weeks starting from 20th May to 20th June 2026.
Reporting
The consultant will report to the EANN Secretariat.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in provision of business registration services.
- Experience in provision of corporate secretarial support services.
- Extensive knowledge of statutory company secretarial services space.
Payment Schedule
- 75% upon signing the contract.
- 25% on final approval of all deliverables.
